Year Group 6 learners actively explored the science of sound through Hands-on Physics experiments.
Using a bell jar, they observed how sound gradually faded as air was removed, reinforcing the concept that sound requires a medium to travel. Learners also used a spring to model sound waves, helping them visualize how vibrations transfer energy without the medium itself moving.
These practical investigations enhanced their conceptual understanding while strengthening observation, inquiry, and scientific reasoning skills.
