As part of our Visual & Performing Arts Club, learners from Year Group 6,7 & 8 visited the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP), Bengaluru, for an immersive exploration of the exhibition “Beneath the Turning Sky.”
Engaging with artworks across time periods, cultures and mediums, learners reflected on how artists communicate meaning through form, colour, composition and narrative. Through guided discussions and personal sketching exercises, they translated observation into interpretation, strengthening both analytical and creative skills.
An interactive, multisensory section of the exhibition invited learners to read and share reflections - fostering personal connections with art and with one another. Many experienced their first museum visit, leaving inspired to create thoughtful, self-driven artworks shaped by their encounter with contemporary and historical perspectives.
A meaningful step in nurturing reflective, culturally aware young artists. ✨
