Year Group 3 learners explored the Visible Spectrum, discovering that white light is made up of seven colours. Using a prism, they observed how light splits into different colours through refraction.
To deepen their understanding, learners used a seven-colour wheel connected to a motor and rotated it using block coding. As the wheel spun at high speed, the colours blended together, demonstrating how the seven colours combine to form white light.
The activity was filled with curiosity, excitement and bright smiles as learners watched science come to life.
