From classroom concepts to real-life connections – Parents as a Resource

We were delighted to host Mrs. Priyanka Jaiswal and Mr. Amit Gupta as our Parent Resource Mentors for an engaging Science session on “Changes to Materials.” The session was thoughtfully designed and well aligned with the learning level of our Year Group 1 learners.

Through interactive discussions, simple games and a hands-on “Touch and Feel” activity, learners explored how materials change when heat, water, or force is applied. They also discovered how raw materials are processed to create everyday objects, helping them connect classroom concepts with real life.

Each child received a certificate as a token of participation, making the experience even more special.

It was truly a joyful and enriching learning experience for our young scientists and we sincerely appreciate their valuable contribution to our Parent as a Resource Programme.
