Our Year Group 1 learners celebrated Pi Day, also recognised as the International Day of Mathematics, exploring this year’s theme - Math and Hope.
Through hands-on activities like mandala art, pattern crafts, puzzles and movement-based learning, learners discovered that mathematics goes beyond numbers - it is about patterns, creativity and connection.
The experience encouraged curiosity, creativity, critical thinking and collaboration, reflecting key Cambridge learner attributes while helping children see how math shapes the world around them.
