Our Foundation Stage 1 learners explored the theme “Transport and Travel” as part of the Area of Development: Understanding the World.
Using recycled materials such as bottles, cardboard and ice-cream sticks, learners designed their favourite vehicles, discovering how transport connects people to places like schools, hospitals and shops.
This hands-on experience encouraged creativity, fine motor development and environmental awareness, while helping learners understand the role of transport in everyday life and building confidence through imaginative expression.
