As part of our Parent as a Resource Programme, we were privileged to host Mr. Pramod Pokharkar for an engaging session with our Year Group 5 learners on “Effects of CO₂ Emissions.”
Learners explored the causes of CO₂ emissions and their impact on the environment, along with concepts such as renewable and non-renewable resources, carbon footprint and the role of technology in managing emissions. They were also introduced to the concept of carbon credit.
Interactive discussions on topics like plastic manufacturing, carbon storage and real-world solutions such as underground CO₂ storage and afforestation captured learners’ interest and deepened their understanding.
The session encouraged critical thinking and environmental awareness, helping learners make meaningful connections to global challenges like climate change and sustainability.
