Building Joints, Building Ideas!

Learning came to life as our Year Group 7 learners stepped into the role of young scientists and engineers, creating models of hinge and ball-and-socket joints using simple materials.

Working collaboratively in teams, they explored joint structures, recreated their movements and discovered how they enable the human body to move. The learning continued as learners visited peer stations, observed different models, exchanged feedback and reflected on their creations.

This engaging hands-on activity fostered scientific understanding, creativity, teamwork and critical thinking, demonstrating how experiential learning makes complex concepts easier to understand and remember.
