Exploring the Wonders of Nature with Year Group 2 Learners 🌿
Our inquisitive young scientists from Year Group 2 embarked on a delightful nature walk through the school's Habitat Garden. With a spirit of curiosity and attentiveness, they carefully observed and classified their discoveries into three categories: living, non-living, and once-living. From the graceful flutter of butterflies and the cheerful song of birds to the stillness of stones and the gentle fall of autumn leaves, the learners thoughtfully considered the defining characteristics of each — such as growth, movement, and response to the environment. This hands-on exploration offered a vivid and memorable extension of their classroom learning.
The learners’ enthusiasm and keen observations were truly commendable, reflecting their growing understanding of the natural world. It is heartening to see them developing into mindful and responsible stewards of the environment. 🐞
