A Heart Remembers – Foundation Stage 2 Assembly

"Words may be forgotten, but the way we make someone feel can last a lifetime."

At Assembly, our Foundation Stage 2 learners experienced the powerful story of The Crumpled Heart. As a paper heart was crumpled with every unkind word and gently smoothed through acts of kindness, empathy, honesty, and respect, they discovered an important truth - even when the heart is straightened, the creases remain.

This meaningful experience reminded our little Valistars that while apologies can help heal, our words and actions can leave lasting impressions. By nurturing kindness, compassion and empathy from an early age, we are helping learners grow into thoughtful individuals who choose to uplift others through their words and actions.
