Awareness of community is the first step towards responsibility. As children understand who helps their world, they begin to recognise how they can shape it.
As part of our Parent as a Resource Programme, we were delighted to welcome Ms. Bhavna Kapoor for an engaging session on “Our Community - Community Helpers".
Through songs, visual presentations and interactive discussions, learners explored the roles of community helpers and their importance in everyday life. They actively participated, shared their ideas and connected their learning to real-world experiences.
A fun riddle activity further encouraged critical thinking and engagement, making the session both meaningful and enjoyable.
The experience supported key areas of development including Communication and Language, Understanding the World and Personal, Social and Emotional Development, helping learners build awareness, appreciation and a sense of responsibility.
We sincerely thank Ms. Bhavna Kapoor for her valuable contribution to our learning community.
