Building Healthy Habits – Parent as a Resource

As part of our Parent as a Resource Programme, our Year Group 2 learners participated in an engaging session led by Ms. Jagruti Sawhney and Mr. Ishaan Sawhney.

The session focused on healthy eating and balanced diets, where learners explored different food groups and understood how each supports growth, energy and overall well-being. Through interactive discussions, they learned to make healthier food choices by including fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins and dairy in their daily meals.

To extend learning beyond the classroom, learners were awarded Star Badges and encouraged to observe their meals at home -aiming to include at least one item from each food group.

This initiative promoted awareness, reflection and responsible choices, inspiring learners to build healthy habits in their everyday lives.
