Our Year 6 & 7 Performing Arts learners explored creativity through two engaging experiences — Granite Block Sculpture Construction and Paper Clay Mask Painting.
Using leftover construction materials, students experimented with balance and stability to build structural forms with granite blocks, strengthening collaboration, problem-solving, and spatial awareness. They also discovered the art of storytelling through paper clay masks, drawing inspiration from traditional Indian designs and using techniques like layering, dry brushing, and blending to create expressive pieces.
Both activities encouraged sustainable thinking, craftsmanship, and artistic confidence — proving that imagination can transform simple materials into powerful creative expressions. 🎨🎭
