Uplifting Educators: Focused Planning, Fun-Filled Teaching
2nd July 2025
Orientation to Learning Pods: Fostering Engaging, Learner-Centred Environments
10th July 2025

Enhancing Teaching Practices with Collaborative and Interdisciplinary Approaches

At Valistus, we are committed to fostering a culture of continuous professional growth through collaborative learning approaches. These practices empower educators to expand their impact by engaging in peer learning, knowledge sharing, and collective reflection — ultimately enhancing creativity and teaching effectiveness. By nurturing an environment that encourages the respectful exchange of feedback, we are building a strong professional community grounded in trust and development.

A key focus of our initiative involved unpacking the STEM/STEAM framework to equip teachers with innovative strategies that promote design thinking and interdisciplinary integration in classroom practice. Educators explored how to incorporate STEM concepts effectively into Science and Mathematics, making learning more relevant, practical, and engaging for pupils. We also introduced a range of interactive tools — such as digital interactive boards — to demonstrate how technology can create more dynamic and learner-centred classrooms. The day concluded with thoughtful reflections, encouraging educators to internalise their learning and consider new possibilities for their teaching practice.💡
