Every sound is the beginning of a new word

With sound cups in hand, our Foundation Stage 1 learners set off on an exciting Sound Adventure Hunt, exploring the classroom as they searched for pictures beginning with matching sounds.

Through this playful activity, learners strengthened their phonemic awareness, expanded their vocabulary, and developed early reading skills while collaborating with friends, sharing ideas, and celebrating every discovery.

Every sound discovered was another step towards confident communication and joyful learning. 💙
