Math in Action : Number Identification and Quantification

Our Early Years 2 learners enthusiastically engaged in a hands-on math activity that combined number identification and quantification through playful dice games. Using a ball as a manipulative, learners rolled the dice, identified the number and carefully represented it using sticks on a number board.

They also matched number cards with classroom manipulatives, arranging them thoughtfully to demonstrate accurate quantities. This interactive approach strengthened their understanding of numbers while fostering focus, collaboration and joyful participation.

Through games, movement and creative exploration, our young learners are building strong numeracy foundations - making mathematics both meaningful and fun.
