As part of the school's commitment to community outreach, a series of Wellness Sessions were hosted, encompassing students from EYFS 2 to Year Group 10. Hapchi, an organization led by Dr. Kanika Sharma, spearheaded these sessions, dedicated to raising awareness about Child Safety in various domains. The comprehensive approach aimed to address physical and psychological aspects of well-being.
On September 20th, senior learners in Year Group 8 to 10 participated in a workshop focusing on 'Body Image'. This workshop delved into self-perception and encouraged a positive body image. Concurrently, middle school students (Year Group 5 to 7) engaged in a workshop spotlighting the adverse effects of Gadget and Media Addiction, offering strategies to overcome this modern challenge.
Subsequently, learners in Year Group 3 and 4 delved into the realm of 'Mental Resilience', acquiring skills to fortify their minds. Simultaneously, Year Group 2 students explored techniques for 'Anger Management', aiding them in temper control.
In addition to student sessions, on September 23rd, other informative workshops were held for parents. Dr. Kanika led a session on 'Must Know Body Safety Rules' for parents of younger primary students, emphasizing safety techniques. Another session focused on 'Digital Safety' for parents of secondary learners, equipping them with knowledge to ensure safe digital usage for their children. The school remains dedicated to empowering both students and parents through these informative and engaging sessions.
