Our young learners from Early Years 2 explored the humble peg through a simple, hands-on activity that encouraged them to squeeze, open, release and close while developing finger strength and hand-eye coordination.
As they followed instructions and explored cause and effect, learners also built their vocabulary, discovered concepts such as open and closed and made independent choices through playful exploration.
What looked like simple play became a meaningful opportunity to develop fine motor skills, confidence, language, early mathematical thinking and curiosity.
Because every playful moment can open the door to new learning. 💫
