The Wellbeing & Support Counselling (WSC) Team facilitated a reflective session for our Year Group 7 learners on ‘Identity Conflicts’ and Self-identity.
Through a creative foldable activity, learners explored the different forces that can shape who they are - family expectations and personal choices, tradition and new ideas, who they are and who they feel they should be.
The fold became a thoughtful metaphor for self-identity: the part of us everyone sees and the part only we know.
The experience encouraged learners to recognise and understand these different influences with greater self-awareness, reflection and acceptance. 🌱
