International Day of Peace, established in 1981, is a day to strengthen peace ideals nationally and internationally. It encourages people to cease hostilities and work towards non-violent conflict resolution. Peace means solving obstacles through non-violence, communication, education, and compassion for the betterment of civilisation.
To raise awareness and passion for peace among our young leaders of tomorrow, on the occasion of International Day of Peace, Valistus International School organised a short event with music, and poetry recitation in French. We are very honoured to announce the winners of the Peace Poetry Competition.
