Yercaud Reflection: Year Group 5-7 Students Share Stories of Fun, Friendship, and Personal Growth

On the 6th of February 2024, students from Year Groups 5, 6, and 7 embarked on a memorable camping trip to Yercaud, Tamil Nadu, which lasted until the 9th of February. This excursion was characterized by joy, excitement, and a sense of adventure, offering students a much-needed respite from the chaotic pace of city life. The camping experience was described by our two students, let's hear from them directly:

**By Dev, Year Group 6**

"On February 6th 2024 the students of Year Groups 5, 6 and 7 went on a camping trip to Yercaud in Tamil Nadu till the 9th of February. The trip was filled with joy, excitement and adventure.

As we participated in many outdoor activities, we all got a well deserved break from the chaotic and bustling environments of the city. The camping adventure was marvellous. We slept in tents, had a day out trek, transcended rope activities, ate amazing food and boosted our individual productivity and responsibility. Everyone departed as great students and returned even better with memories that would stay with us for a lifetime. It was truly an experience like none other."

"Year Groups 5,6 and 7 class trip to Yercaud was the perfect blend of fun and learning. There were many fun and educational activities that taught us important lessons like how to be self reliant.

From the trekking to the rope course, even the other activities such as the zipline and the outdoor cooking taught us something new. The highlight of the trip was definitely the night walk! Even the food was magnificent!

All in all, this trip was an amazing experience that we will never forget and forever cherish."
