Our FS1 learners had a fun hands-on activity exploring sides and corners by building shapes with colourful ice cream sticks. Through playful discovery, they learned that squares and triangles have sides and corners, while a circle is different—it has none and cannot be made with sticks.
To deepen their understanding, the children moulded circles with clay, making meaningful connections through tactile exploration. This engaging activity not only sparked curiosity but also strengthened early mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills. ✨
