Year Group 2 learners took part in an engaging, hands-on activity to strengthen their understanding of similes. Each learner selected a chit, read the sentence carefully, and decided whether it was a simile before placing it under the correct heading.
The activity encouraged independent thinking, active participation, and growing confidence in identifying similes. Learners then worked together to create a colourful chart, now proudly displayed in the classroom as a visual reminder of their learning.
