"That's what friends are for... in good times and bad times," crooned Dionne Warwick many years ago. At Valistus, friends not only stand by each other through thick and thin, they also read books aloud to each other!
As part of our World Book and Copyright Day celebrations, we had a buddy reading session. Our Year 4 learners read out to their friends in FS1, and our Year 2 learners read out to their buddies in FS2.
Watching these children bond over books was heartwarming. Three cheers to books and friendships!
