Year Group 8 learners had an enriching field exploration to Y-Cook India Private Limited, Hoskote, Bengaluru, where they gained valuable insights into entrepreneurship concepts through a practical “farm to plate” journey.
Guided by Ms. Yamini, Marketing Head, the visit began with a debriefing session, followed by a tour of the nursery where students observed how seeds are planted in cocopeat and nurtured into healthy saplings. They then explored farms at different growth stages-from young corn plants to fully grown crops ready for harvest and were thrilled to taste freshly harvested sweet corn. 🌱🌽
True to Y-Cook’s vision of “Farm to Plate”, students experienced how every stage—right from cultivation to global packaging—is managed with precision and care. Each learner was delighted to receive a corn sampling and a thoughtful goodies bag, which even included a unique purple corn.
It was indeed a memorable entrepreneurial learning journey that left the students inspired and excited.
