Year Group 2 learners recently brought their Social Studies chapter to life by exploring the true value of recreation and taking mindful breaks.
To understand how recreation helps us recharge, learners participated in a balanced blend of outdoor and indoor activities. Outdoors, they enjoyed an energising session of jump rope, keeping their bodies active and refreshed. Indoors, they strengthened social skills and creativity through building blocks, crafts and classic board games such as Ludo.
Through this hands-on experience, learners discovered that recreation is not merely free time - it is essential for relaxing the mind, enhancing well-being, fostering teamwork and helping them return to learning with renewed focus and enthusiasm.
A meaningful reminder that a healthy balance of work and play builds happier, stronger learners. ✨
