Thinking Beyond Appearances – Tenali Raman Storytelling Activity

Our Year Group 2 learners dived into the classic tale Tenali Raman and the Horse through engaging storytelling and lively role play. From Tenali Raman and King Krishnadevaraya to the Rajguru — and even the horse — our young performers brought the story to life with humour, confidence, and creativity!

Through this joyful experience, learners discovered that true wisdom lies in thoughtful actions, clever thinking, and empathy. They learned that intelligence isn’t about wealth or appearances, but about understanding others.
