The “Parent as a Resource” session in Year Group 2 at Valistus International School was an enriching experience for all. We were pleased to welcome Ms. Divya Shree Kota, a software professional, who conducted an engaging session on essential safety practices at home, in school, around electrical appliances, near fire, on the road and during outdoor play.
Through an interactive presentation and meaningful discussions, learners deepened their understanding of safety awareness. The highlight was a group challenge where learners created and performed short skits within five minutes, showcasing creativity, collaboration and confidence.
Demonstrating the Cambridge Learner attributes of being confident, responsible, reflective and engaged, the children impressed everyone with their enthusiasm. Each learner earned a star on their “Kites of Knowledge,” making it a memorable day.
At Valistus, learning is truly a shared journey between parents, learners and facilitators - a day filled with awareness, teamwork and joyful learning.
