Year Group 3 Learners embarked on a meaningful journey through the story ‘Carrots, Eggs and Coffee Beans’ - a powerful tale that explores how different individuals respond to challenges!
The session sparked thoughtful conversations around resilience and adaptability. Learners were able to vividly relate the metaphor of boiling water to real-life situations, identifying moments when they themselves had felt like the carrot (softened by challenges), the egg (hardened by adversity), or the coffee bean (transforming the environment around them). Their ability to connect these symbols to personal experiences was both insightful and heart-warming. Learners participated in expressive role play, using gestures, voice modulation and movement to bring each character to life.
Learners were encouraged to reflect on challenges and their responses - like the carrot, egg or coffee bean..
