Our curious Year Group 6 learners enjoyed the wonders of sound and music at the Indian Music Experience Museum, India’s first interactive music museum. The trip offered a wonderful blend of art, culture, and science, allowing students to explore the fascinating world of sound and music in an engaging, hands-on environment.
Learners discovered how sound is created, travels, and transforms through various mediums. They explored the science behind music by experimenting with instruments made from different materials - including stones, strings, and percussion tools - and observed how each produced unique tones and vibrations.
Through the themed galleries, students explored India’s musical traditions, iconic artists, and instrument evolution, deepening their understanding of the link between music, physics, and creativity.
It was a day of curiosity, discovery, and joyful learning -a perfect harmony of science and art!
