We recently had the honour of welcoming a Wadiyar prince to our school, a direct descendent from the illustrious royal family of Mysore. This rare visit was more than just a meeting; it was an enlightening journey through time, from the grandeur of Mysore's past to the vibrant heart of modern Bangalore. The prince shared invaluable insights and stories, deeply rooted in his family's history, offering our students not just lessons in success but a glimpse into a living legacy.
To commemorate this unforgettable encounter, we've captured the essence of the day in a collection of photographs, and the lovely poem by our English teacher, Ms Ivy Kurien:
"In a regal visit, a Wadiyar prince graced our school halls,
Unfolding the rich tapestry of Mysore's legacy, from yore to Bangalore's modern sprawl.
With wisdom drawn from dynastic lore, he imparted tips for success,
Leaving students inspired to carve their own path, a royal blessing to progress.
In his words, echoes of valor and wisdom resound,
From the realms of history to the city's bustling ground.
His guidance, a beacon for dreams to ignite and ascend,
As the prince's visit, a chapter in our school's tale to commend."
